Insurance & Payment
We are committed to making ABA therapy accessible and affordable for families. Navigating insurance can be overwhelming, but we’re here to help every step of the way.
Behavior Bridge ABA Therapy accepts a variety of insurance plans and offers flexible payment options:
Medicaid (Texas Medicaid)
We proudly accept Texas Medicaid for ABA therapy services. As of 2022, Medicaid in Texas covers ABA therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder under 21 as a benefit, which has opened doors for many families. If your child is eligible for Medicaid, our team will assist with the authorization process and any required paperwork.

We’ll coordinate with your Medicaid managed care plan to obtain approvals so your child can start services as soon as possible. (Please note that an autism diagnosis and referral are typically required for Medicaid coverage, and we can guide you on these requirements.)
Private Health Insurance
We work with many major private insurance providers. In fact, under autism insurance mandates, most private insurance plans are required to cover ABA services for children with autism. We are in-network with several insurers (contact us for the latest list), and we also help families utilize out-of-network benefits when necessary.

Our administrative team will verify your benefits, help obtain any pre-authorizations, and handle claim submissions on your behalf. You shouldn’t have to become an insurance expert – we’ll take care of the details and keep you informed. If you have questions about whether your plan covers ABA, we’re happy to assist in checking your coverage.
Private Pay (Out-of-Pocket)
For families without insurance coverage or those who prefer to pay directly, we offer private pay options. We understand that intensive therapy can be costly, so we strive to keep our rates reasonable and will work with you on a payment plan if needed.
We can also provide documentation and superbills if you plan to seek reimbursement from a Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), or other funding sources.

Supporting Your Journey
Regardless of payment method, our philosophy is that no family should feel alone in handling the financial aspect of therapy. We offer a free initial consultation where we discuss your funding options. Once you decide to begin services, we’ll guide you through every form and authorization. Our staff has experience working with Medicaid and insurance companies, and we’ll be your advocates to minimize any delays in approval.

We also place a high value on transparency – you’ll be informed of any co-pays, deductibles, or out-of-pocket costs upfront so there are no surprises. If at any point you encounter issues with coverage, let us know and we will help troubleshoot or find solutions. In some cases, we can adjust program hours or connect you with community resources to help cover costs.

Commitment to Accessibility: Behavior Bridge ABA Therapy was founded on the belief that effective autism services should be within reach for all families. Accepting Medicaid and insurance is part of our commitment to accessibility. We also continuously work to expand the insurance networks we participate in.
If your insurance is not currently accepted, please reach out – we may be in the process of contracting with them, or we can discuss single-case agreements. Our goal is to remove financial barriers so your child can get the help they deserve. We are here to answer any questions about insurance or payment at any time.
